I have goals, dammit. And I'm determined to reach them. Playing around with the free time-tracking software Toggl as well as a timer and so far it's going well. If nothing else, I'm realizing when I'm sucked into something other than what I planned soon rather than later. I'll revist this in a week and see how it's gone. Do you have a favorite way to keep yourself on task?

Keeping myself on task? What is this interesting concept?

Actually I've got a Wallace & Gromit & Shaun the Sheep clock next to my computer. Yes, yes, there's a clock in my computer, but it's down there in the corner, all inconspicuous. The Wallace & Gromit clock is a lot bigger. Of course, that only works for keeping myself from messing around on the computer too far past my bedtime.

For all other tasks the only thing that saves me from my scatterbrained Gemini self is the Cancer OCD that came as an astrological side dish, which grabs my wandering attention and drags it back into the moment. Although sometimes the Crab isn't quick enough. My Gemini attention span can wander quite far afield pretty damn fast. Sigh.

Heh. Love me some Shaun.

As for your attention span ... *steeples fingers and cackles like a Bond villain*

That is an evil, addictive game, just so you know.
