Well, here's another fine kettle of fish

Sigh* That's about all I can say. For Goodness Sake People! It's 2017!! How? How can there still be entire countries and groups of people who refuse to accept that love, in all it's wonderful configurations is okay?

I'm late to the posting re: the latest batch of changes to LJ. The server locations, the changes in the terms of service, and all the crappy reminders that there are still entire countries and groups of people who refuse to move past people's personal lives and deal with larger issues.

So, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this site. I love LJ. The wonderful people I've met here have kept me hanging on long past time to move on. But I can't say I feel comfortable supporting, or giving the impression of supporting ideologies I don't agree with.

I've been online so rarely I can't even tell you I'm going to be posting here, or on my blogspot site, or even on my website. Twitter still remains the best place to whap me upside the head and say hello while I keeping plugging away at accessibility and figuring out how to successfully transition from visual editing to auditory.

February! It's the new January!

Or so everyone keeps telling me. Now, to really impress me let's have it be 2017! It's the new 2014! Because that's how behind I truly feel. But hey, no whining. Life is chugging along, the writing is chugging along, and I have great hopes that someday I'll figure how to get a handle on this editing thing without really being able to see my words.

I had great hopes for the new year and my social media feeds, but in the end, it appears that I'm still putting my main focus on writing and learning appropriate visual adaptations in that area. Social media is fun, but if you love me, you email me or nudge me on Twitter. Anything else is hit or miss at best.

But enough about that, let's talk about you! How's your New Year going? Winter? Friends and favorite authors? What's ahead for you this year that has you excited? Take a sec and share what you're up to in 2017. Or, what year you wish it really was.

Special Notice re: All Romance ebook purchases

Special Notice: Despite our hopes for a joyous start to the New Year, 2016 ended with a bitter taste in the mouths of romance authors and readers alike. Please, until I get a chance to remove any and all links that lead to the All Romance Ebook website, purchase your reading from Amazon or directly from the publisher.

My gratitude to all the publishers, including Dreamspinner Press for honoring pre-order and prior purchases of their books made at All Romance. If you lost your library when All Romance closed down visit the publisher website or their social media feeds to discover options available.

Snuggle up with Joe Cosentino!

Drama Cruise

Or at least with DRAMA CRUISE. Book 3 of the Nicky and Noah mystery series. The perfect winter getaway for this holiday season.

Theater professors and couple, Nicky Abbondanza and Noah Oliver, are going overboard as usual, but this time on an Alaskan cruise, where dead college theatre professors are popping up everywhere from the swimming pool to the captain’s table. Further complicating matters are Nicky’s and Noah’s parents as surprise cruise passengers, and Nicky’s assignment to direct a murder mystery dinner theater show onboard ship. Nicky and Noah will need to use their drama skills to figure out who is bringing the curtain down on vacationing theatre professors before it is lights out for the handsome couple. You will be applauding and shouting Bravo for Joe Cosentino’s fast-paced, side-splittingly funny, edge-of-your-seat entertaining third novel in this delightful series. Curtain up and ship ahoy!

I'm excited to welcome Joe to the blog today to share with us a little about this exciting new addition to the series.

End of the year, already? Goal setting for minimalists.

I know, I know. *Sigh* How many times have I popped online, realized how long it's been since I've posted, wept, beat my chest, and then swore to do better.

Okay, please. Don't answer that question.

I'll spare you all the recriminations and just say: Yeah, we've been busy Chez Munder. No excuse for neglect, but it is what it is.

But it's the end of the year, and the lovely, open slate of promise of a NEW YEAR lies ahead. Are you excited? I sure am. This year I'm focusing on three main questions as I reflect on time past and what's ahead:

  • What do I want to do in 2017?

  • What do I want to be in 2017?

  • How do I want to feel in 2017?

Keeping it simple, baby.
How about you? Setting goals for new adventures or hiding your head and hoping when you lift the covers you'll find yourself back in August?

The One Pulse Benefit Anthology is here!

Forget my shock and dismay September 19th is here already, [how many shopping days until Christmas??]]. The One Pulse Benefit Anthology is here and ready for the top of your gift-giving list. One copy for you, and one for each of the MM Romance lovers in your life.

Stories drive life. Sometimes life is good; sometimes life is bad. But it’s the nature of our community that in the aftermath of an act of hatred, we respond with love. Because darkness cannot exist in the presence of light. Cruelty cannot stand against compassion. Negativity will never overcome hope.

To show our support for those affected by the Orlando shooting, our authors, editors, artists, and staff have volunteered their talents to create this anthology. All proceeds will be donated to LGBT organizations in central Florida. Join us as we celebrate the triumph of love over every obstacle.

The Back-to-School Restart. Not just for students

Wheeeeeoooooooo! Before I start this post let's pause and take a deep inhale -- ready?-- Breath In--a little more--a little more---Hold it!  Now, let it go in a big whoosh, feeling your shoulders drop--E---x---h---a--l---e. Feel any better? I sure do.

Is anyone else saying "thank goodness it's almost September"?. Normally I'd be panicking up a storm so much time has passed already in this year. But, as you might have been able to tell from my erratic online presence, I'm ready for this summer to be over. It seems like Chez Munder has been racing around since the end of May, and baby, we're tired. It's been festive, don't get me wrong. But unlike a kid dragging their feet at the back to school sales, I'm eagerly anticipating the return of my regular routines.

Somehow in the midst of all the chaos I managed to produce a story available in the Dreamspinner Press One Pulse Anthology in September. More details on that will follow. But for right now, I just wanted to wave hello! and share a deep breath while I put away the flip-flops and get ready for fall.
